ADC Nordic AB acquires Secus Technologies with operations in Sweden, Norway and Finland – both companies being Datalogic Quality Partners.
Malmö, Sweden, June 16, 2006 --(PR.com)-- ADC Nordic AB acquires Secus Technologies with operations in Sweden, Norway and Finland – both companies being Datalogic Quality Partners. As a result of the merger the company becomes one of the largest distributors of cash register systems and RFID and bar code equipment in the Nordic market. During 2006, the turnover is expected to reach 100 million Swedish Crowns.
The merger between ADC Nordic AB and Secus Technologies creates an auto-ID distributor that is the largest, most complete and closest to its market in the Nordic region. The acquisition allows ADC Nordic and Secus to distribute auto-ID’s strongest brands and the broadest assortment of data capture products (printers, scanning equipment, mobile computers and wireless systems) used to create, manage and communicate information critical to businesses. The merger also adds more ammunition to ADC Nordics strategic efforts to supply a complete assortment of auto-ID products, products that build on RFID and bar code technology, that are used in the retail, industrial, health care and transportation markets.
