Carney, Inc., today announced that it will participate in a $483 million contract to provide distributed learning, education, and training solutions to the U.S. Army.

Alexandria, VA, August 15, 2005 --(PR.com)-- Carney, Inc., today announced that it will participate in a $483 million contract to provide distributed learning, education, and training solutions to the U.S. Army. Karta Technologies, Inc., was awarded a position as a prime contractor for the United States Army’s Distributed Learning Education and Training Products (DLETP) program. Carney is part of the Karta team of 17 innovative providers. “Training is a key ingredient of combat readiness,” said retired Army Maj. Gen. and Karta COO Ken Guest, “Karta put together a great team for the DLETP program and winning gives us a great opportunity. An important part of this program is the chance to support our Nation and its great soldiers.”

Under the contract, Carney will apply its highly effective Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and development processes to create interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) in support of the Army’s commitment to maintain high-quality training for its troops at home and abroad.
