Copperworks to be Featured on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
A copper range hood and copper countertop from Copperworks will appear in this week’s episode of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Their exclusive hood design, the Sonoma, is a major focal point for the brand new kitchen on the show.
San Francisco, CA, October 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Copperworks, a California-based manufacturer of range hoods and countertops, will be featured in this Sunday’s episode of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
In a project benefiting a widow and her child, the team, lead by Ty Pennington, transforms the home to include a copper range hood over an island with a copper countertop.
The team at Copperworks is very excited to see their work on national television. Range hoods and countertops in copper and zinc from Copperworks have been featured in the past on the covers of magazines and in designer showcase homes, but this is the first time they will be on a national, major network, primetime television show.
In fact, the hood used is the Sonoma model is an Copperworks exclusive. The actual hood was on display in the Petaluma, California workshop when the show’s production team called and requested a copper hood. The coppersmiths at Copperworks made a few minor adjustments and it was ready to ship.
In addition to the copper hood, Copperworks created a beautiful copper countertop for installation in the center of the kitchen. This will create an island of stunning copper in the new kitchen for the homeowner.
