First Jennifer Hudson and now Chi-Town Princess Drew Sidora, takes center stage. Drew Sidora joins the cast of "The Game" on the CW as a recurring character, playing herself and stirring up heat on this hit series.
Chicago, IL, February 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Drew Sidora is the future. As an emerging young actress, singer writer and producer, she is definitely a name you should remember. Drew's slow burn into Hollywood is what makes this story unique.
At the age of nine she played Khalil Kain's ("Juice," "Zooman," "Love Jones," "Tiger Woods Story," "Girlfriends") little sister in Thomas Carter's movie "Divas," by the age of 12 she was in a regionally popular R & B Group, Mo'Tempo, as the lead singer; and she was featured on numerous TV commercials and radio spots all before becoming a teenager.
Drew emerged on the big screen in her first role as Edna in DMX's "Never Die Alone," and earned her first reoccurring television role on the WB series the "O'Keefes." Kids everywhere know her as Chantel, Eddie's sassy girlfriend on Disney's hit show, "That's So Raven." Drew went on to play the hilarious sidekick in the Wayan Brother's Box Office Smash, "White Chicks" and one of the leads in "Step Up," which took the number one and two spots at the box office respectively.
Without a record deal, her first single "For The Love" was played on over 20 radio stations around the country. Her single became the number one requested song in Bermuda and on Chicago top radio station; and she became branded as the "Chi- Town Princess" after opening up for LL Cool J in front of an audience greater than 100,000 during the Taste of Chicago in 2005. Two of her songs, including a remix of "For the Love," with platinum artist Mario, are featured on the top selling "Step Up Soundtrack." The soundtrack also featured other platinum artists, such as Ciara, Chris Brown, Keysha Cole and Sean Paul.
Most recently, Drew can be seen in the soon to be released blockbuster "Wild Hogs" with John Travolta, Tim Allen, William H. Macey and Martin Lawrence; as well as her first of final episodes playing herself on the CW's hit show "The Game" which airs tonight, 8:30pm CST/9:30 pm EST. Drew's new addition to the cast of "The Game" is major.
