International Model and TV Host Linda Black Releases Her First Novel ‘Deathwish’ (Under the Nom-De-Plume L J Black) Through Outskirts Press
Denver, CO, March 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Linda Black, a model/TV host, hailing from Waco TX has released her first book in a series – ‘Deathwish’. Linda has worked as a successful model for over 15 years in countries all over the world. For the last few years she has been based in Asia (presenting on Discovery Channel Asia) where the finishing touches to her novel were made. The novel is a Thriller, set in the near future, which follows the lives of a group of nighttime enforcers who live on the edges of the law.
A native of Texas, L J Black (real name Linda Black) grew up in the small town of Lorena near WACO.
A hard worker and honor student, Linda’s life changed when she became a finalist in a national modeling competition for YM Magazine at the age of 16.
Thus began a 15 year career which saw her travel to cities all over the world (London, New York, Paris, Milan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Auckland – to name but a few) working for some of the worlds top designers as well as making a foray into the world of television when she hosted ‘Cathay Pacific – On the Move’ on Discovery Channel Asia just last year.
Although only her first novel to be released, Linda Black has been writing voraciously since her early teens.
"Writing is my true joy. Although modeling has been fantastic, allowing me to see the world – my dream is to make a career as a novelist." -
Linda Black

But at what price does this self-imposed job cost, and how to keep from becoming that which is reviled?
