Greenville Man Publishes Book About Biblical Cain - Based on Genesis 2:4-5:5, Greenville Seminarian J. Henry Martin Relates a Story About the First Murderer
This release is to announce the publication of a book by J. Henry Martin, M.Div., a 1980 graduate of Bob Jones University and a member of Greenville's Second Presbyterian Church since November of that year. The book had its start over twenty years ago, but was written from memory in the space of eight days. The story follows Cain and his brother Abel in the century before Cain kills Abel.
Greenville, SC, February 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- J. Henry Martin received his Master of Divinity from Bob Jones University in 1980 and is a deacon at Second Presbyterian Church of Greenville, South Carolina, where he lives with Deborah, his wife of 34 years. With a strong background in biblical studies and theology, he has always wanted to answer that age old question: "Where did Cain get his wife?" But then, what about all those years before the murder of Abel. All we know for sure is that Adam and Eve were 130 years old when Seth was born "to replace" Abel.
Rise of Cain is the first in a planned series of historical fiction based on the historical accounts in the Bible. It builds a foundation for understanding how antediluvian man lived out their long lives. With no compromise to prevailing theories in the world today, Martin presents realistic people facing very real problems.
Published and available through Lulu.com, the book can be via FaceBook and Blogger pages. It will be available in both electronic (ePub) and print form.
