Mexico City, Mexico, July 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The closure of Kumuka Worldwide, a renowned adventure travel operator, has taken the market by surprise this month in a sudden and unfortunate turn of events. The company had been operating overlanding tours since 1983 and grew to offer tours all over the world. From July 22, 2012 the company will no longer operate tours leaving holiday seekers out of luck across the world.

Bamba Experience, an emerging adventure travel company in Latin America, takes over the Kumuka operation in Latin America.

Bamba Experience’s CEO, Paul Sarfati, stated, "We were shocked to hear about the sudden closure of Kumuka Worldwide and we send our best wishes to everyone who is going through this difficult time in the company.

"After careful consideration, we decided to take over the operation of Kumuka's overland trucks in all of South America and incorporate their operations team into our organization. We have already sent 2 of our operations managers to test out the current trips and fine tune the operation of these tours to make sure it reflects the Bamba Experience travel culture. As of today, we are able to operate all the routes that Kumuka had been operating in Latin America, however, our idea is to begin operating the routes running between Lima, Peru and La Paz, Bolivia as well as Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

"As mentioned we have taken on board most of the team that had been working for Kumuka. Many have more than 10 years of experience operating overland trips. We feel that all of our customers will benefit from the excellent operation of Kumuka’s team and new travel experiences made available by this change. Another great benefit for overlanders is that they will be able to extend their trip with additional Bamba Experience travel options. We offer exciting adventure trips in Latin America, Inca Trail Treks to Machu Picchu and have recently opened Milhouse Hotel & Backpackers in Cuzco, all of which are operated by Bamba directly."

Old Kumuka routes now operated by Bamba Experience:
Lima, Peru to La Paz, Bolivia (and vice versa)
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Buenos Aires, Argentina (and vice versa)
