Nominations for SPACC and Brandography Sponsored “Doggone Worst Website” Contest Due by April 18, 2013

All submissions should include a brief justification of 150 words or less citing why the nominated website needs a makeover.

Minneapolis, MN, April 13, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Final nominations for the “Doggone Worst Website” contest, a website makeover competition for businesses in the Twin Cities area, are due by April 18, 2013. Sponsored by the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce (SPACC) and Brandography, a full-service digital marketing firm, this contest rewards a local business or individual with a large-scale web design and marketing update.

Anyone may nominate a website they believe needs a renovation at www.Brandography.com/contest . Submissions require a 150-word justification as to why the nominated site is the “doggone worst,” as well as a SPACC sponsor. Help finding a SPACC sponsor is provided on the nomination page.

The SPACC is the largest local chamber in Minnesota, comprised of over 1,200 businesses, nonprofits, and government organizations. Dedicated to improving its members through education, networking, and advocacy, sponsoring the “Doggone Worst Website” contest demonstrates the SPACC’s commitment to advance and grow the overall Twin Cities business community.

After the nomination period closes, the five “worst” websites will move on to a round of public voting. The popular winner will win a $10,000 value package of digital marketing services from Brandography. This grand prize will include perks such as a mobile-optimized website, content review, a content management system, photos and videos, SEO, remarketing and social media advice, $200 worth of advertising for new Google PPC accounts, ROI reporting, logo retouching and multiple promotional press release submissions. The digital makeover will be completed in a maximum of 45 days.

Each of the top five websites will receive a 25 percent discount on Brandography’s digital marketing services. Each website nominated for the contest will receive a 10 percent discount. Additionally, the SPACC member who sponsored the winning website will win a four-hour photo shoot from Brandography. During the grand prize web transformation, Brandography will run a series of blog posts to track their progress. The series aims to provide tips and educate their readers on digital design and marketing optimization.
