UF Alumna LadyBroadway Martina Sykes Wraps Exclusive Norwegian Cruise Performances

New York, NY, April 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Singer, actor, dancer and activist Martina Sykes ends her six month tour aboard Norwegian Cruise and is now in the same company as the famous faces of Cirque Dreams and the wildly popular theatrical phenomenon known as The Blue Man Group who have also guest toured with Norwegian Cruise line.

After the summer release of her inspirational first single; ‘Stand Back’, now available on iTunes and Amazon, Martina joined the Norwegian Cruise cast of performers.

Before achieving her bachelor’s degree in PR from the University of Florida, she graduated from Gibbs High School's PCCA of St. Petersburg, Florida. Martina has been performing since her childhood. She was a part of the local dance group ‘Impact’ with her older brother Ephraim M. Sykes and friends; Charles Smith, Jr., Kiashi Hosey and Veronica Jones.

Martina completed her first long run performance in Infinity Theater's ‘The Little Shop of Horrors’ in Baltimore, Maryland where she received acclaim from The Baltimore Sun. She followed her ‘Little Shop,’ performance with a Florida production of ‘Hairspray’ as one the Dynamites and she was first seen in the Broadway workshop of ‘Raindogs.’
