New Year Upgrades at the Five Points Branch

The Gateway Family YMCA – Five Points Branch Renovates for the New Year

Union, NJ, January 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Gateway Family YMCA – Five Points Branch is undergoing renovations during the Holiday break to enhance their facility for the Union community. “The Five Points Branch is undergoing a face-lift. We are excited to be able to give back to our members by providing an updated facility to help them achieve their health goals in 2014,” stated Danielle Cioffi, Branch Executive for The Gateway Family YMCA – Five Points Branch.

Renovations at the Five Points Branch include all new strength training and cardiovascular fitness equipment, fully refinished gymnasium floor and pool and whirlpool maintenance. These projects will be completed in early January. “These enhancements will allow us to better serve our members and the community,” stated Matt Bansch, Senior Director of Healthy Living, Five Points Branch.

As a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, The Gateway Family YMCA (formerly The YMCA of Eastern Union County) seeks to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has an opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. In 2013, The Gateway Family YMCA lowered joiner’s fees throughout the Association, while upgrading and renovating facilities, and installing free member wifi at all branches. In addition, free membership is offered at all branches for 7th grade students.
