Ken Joyce Becomes a NACD Board Leadership Fellow

NACD Fellows Demonstrate Their Commitment to the Highest Levels of Corporate Governance and Leadership in the Boardroom.

Washington, DC, January 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Kenneth T. Joyce of Phoenix, Arizona, has become a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow, the highest level of credentialing for corporate directors and corporate governance professionals. Ken has served as a director on the boards of Amkor Technology, Inc., The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), and ParaChem Southern, Inc.

As a NACD Fellow, Ken has demonstrated his knowledge of the leading trends and practices that define exemplary corporate governance today and has committed to developing professional insights through a sophisticated course of ongoing study.

Ken Joyce served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Amkor Technology, Inc. from 2009 until his retirement in May 2013. Mr. Joyce joined Amkor in 1997 and was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for more than eight years before becoming Chief Administrative Officer in November 2007, Chief Operating Officer in February 2008 and President in May 2008. Prior to joining Amkor, from 1992 to 1997, he served as CFO of Selas Fluid Processing Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Linde AG, Munich, Germany. Mr. Joyce is also a former Vice President, Finance and CFO of Selas Corporation of America. Mr. Joyce joined Selas Corporation of America in 1981 holding various senior finance positions and was promoted to CFO in 1984. Mr. Joyce began his career in 1971 at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. as a certified public accountant. Joyce earned a B.S. in Accounting from Saint Joseph's University and a M.B.A. in Finance from Drexel University.
