Mr. Goldsmith has over 40 years experience in the consulting field. He is the President of Marc Goldsmith & Associates, LLC which is a national management consulting firm providing management consulting and advice from Boca Raton, Florida. He teaches critical thinking skills and provides organizational solutions, enhances executive leadership behavior and creates new processes for addressing uncertainties for energy-related industries. Mr. Goldsmith has published numerous papers, articles and reports. He was Past President of the International Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He is affiliated with the American Nuclear Society, the International Association of Energy and Economists and the IEEE. Previously, Mr. Goldsmith served from 2004 to 2005 as the Vice President of New Energy Businesses with Stone & Webster Management Consultants, Inc. of Boston, Massachusetts. From 1998 to 2004 he was first an Associate Director and then a Director with Arthur D. Little, Inc. of Cambridge, Massachusetts. He served as the President of Energy Research Group, Inc. of Waltham, Massachusetts from 1975 through 1998. From 1972 to 1975, Mr. Goldsmith served as a Nuclear and Environmental Licensing Engineer with United Engineers & Constructors of Boston, Massachusetts. He originally served as a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Second and Third Assistant Engineer with the U.S. Merchant Marine, serving from 1968 through 1972. Mr. Goldsmith obtained a Degree of Nuclear Engineer from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1972, a B.S. in Marine Nuclear Science from SUNY Maritime College, Fort Schuyler, and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer. He is affianced to Karen Roberts and he has one child by a previous marriage. In his spare time he enjoys ship modelings and tennis.
