Demand Driven Institute (DDI) Confirms DDMRP Compliance of CAMELOT LEAN Suite

Camelot’s software product fully complies with the requirements of the US-based Demand Driven Institute and is today the only available DDMRP compliant solution worldwide based on SAP technology.

Chicago, IL, July 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Camelot ITLab and the Demand Driven Institute today announce that CAMELOT LEAN Suite successfully passed compliance testing and is now officially certified to be fully DDMRP compliant.

The Demand Driven Institute confirms today that Camelot LEAN Suite DDMRP for SAP has met the criteria to be certified DDMRP compliant. To get certified by the DDI, Camelot ITLab had to pass the certification process by proving key DDMRP methodology functions and showcasing a customer reference.

CAMELOT LEAN Suite DDMRP for SAP helps companies to better cope with today’s VUCA challenges in supply chain management (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity). The software buffers variability and uncertainty with a two-sided approach: DDMRP in conjunction with Camelot’s own Demand driven Rhythm Wheel-based production planning creates leveled flow and effective use of available capacities. Demand driven supply and inventory Planning enables organizations to decouple forecast errors and variability from supply.

Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP) is an innovative methodology to model, plan and manage supply chains to protect and promote the flow of relevant information and materials. It enables a company to build more closely to actual market requirements and promotes better and quicker decisions and actions at the planning and execution level across the supply chain network.

“I am very proud having received the DDMRP compliance for our LEAN Suite. It proves that the software supports the latest supply chain planning standards and can help customers to reduce inventory holding costs and cycle times by increasing customer service levels at the same time.” - Josef Packowski, CEO Camelot

“We are delighted to announce the official DDMRP compliance of the software which is today the only available certified solution for SAP landscapes. DDMRP in conjunction with the Demand driven Rhythm Wheel application promises significant benefits for the user,” says Carol Ptak, partner and co-founder of DDI.
