Best-in-Class Data Integration and Governance Vendors Bridge Platforms
IRI and AnalytiX DS to Showcase Combined Capabilities at Enterprise Data World.
Melbourne, FL, March 31, 2017 --(PR.com)-- Innovative Routines International (IRI, The CoSort Company), a leader in fast data management and data-centric protection software, and AnalytiX DS, a leader in data governance, enterprise data mapping and metadata-driven automation software, have announced a strategic partnership that enhances and modernizes data integration and governance technology for information management architects and business users worldwide. The companies will unveil combined functionality and user interfaces in adjacent exhibits at the Dataversity Enterprise Data World conference and expo in Atlanta.
The combined offerings will expand access and use of the IRI Voracity big data integration and AnalytiX DS Unified metadata-driven automation and governance platforms for resellers and customers of both companies. Voracity users will benefit from AnalytiX DS' metadata governance, data lineage and data quality capabilities, plus its metadata-driven automation and release management. Conversely, AnalytiX DS users can access Voracity's faster, more cost-effective ETL operations, as well as its sensitive data masking, data cleansing, test data generation, embedded BI, and data blending functions.
IRI Business Development VP, David Friedland said that, "Both companies are excited about bringing the combined technologies to market under a single, integrated offering. One of the great benefits of AnalytiX DS' metadata-driven automation technology for Voracity users is time to value. Being able to rapidly assess the quality or sensitivity of data means that you can streamline data governance. And automated data mappings and code building means you can stand up data lakes, data warehouses, and data migration environments in weeks, not months."
AnalytiX DS CTO, Mike Boggs explained, "The bridge between the platforms is built on an API-level integration of metadata, which enables anyone with either platform to use the strengths of the other on a pay-to-play basis." Further examples he provided were of: 1) data governance officers who can use either platform to find and classify PII, SPI or PHI, and then mask that data in Voracity to comply with HIPAA, MISMO, HMDA, GDPR, or other data privacy regulations; 2) AnalytiX DS testing automation customers can now generate test data in Voracity; and, 3) Voracity data masking, test data, or ETL users who use AnalytiX DS" graphical impact analysis to view upstream or downstream impacts whenever metadata changes occur.
Both executives observed that competing legacy platforms that offer similar ranges of functionality are much more expensive, not as performant in volume, and are more difficult to learn and use. Both companies have identified several other areas of functional complement, and are collaborating on more interface and licensing options for enterprise users. Meanwhile, those attending Enterprise Data World can learn more from IRI in booth 408 and from AnalytiX DS in booth 406 on April 4th and 5th in the EDW Solution Showcase at the Omni Atlanta Hotel.
