Linda Cliatt-Wayman, a powerful educator and leader who has been previously featured on ABC World News Tonight, Nightline, TED Talks and in Inc.’s article, Forget Business School - Just Watch These 10 TED Talks, will deliver the keynote on Thursday, August 24th at Focus 2017, returning this year to the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines resort.
Linda Cliatt-Wayman is a passionate educator with an unwavering belief in the potential of all children. Wayman’s powerful leadership as a high school principal in North Philadelphia and the success of her students have caused people to take notice. Out of over 8,000 nominees from around the world, she has been named a Top 50 Finalist for the 2016 Global Teacher Prize. Diane Sawyer and her team spent an entire school year documenting Wayman’s efforts, which were featured on both ABC World News Tonight and Nightline. Her May 2015 TED Talk has been viewed over a million times and been subtitled in 21 different languages. She was featured by Mashable in their series called The Real Miss America. Wayman regularly keynotes events ranging from education to business leadership. Her speaking engagements include the Pennsylvania Conference for Women, the Massachusetts Conference for Women, the Raytheon Leadership Conference, the Cancer Treatment Center for America Luncheon, the Exelon Women Luncheon, the Dallas Bar Association, the Baldwin School, the Guirian Institute, the Governor John Engler Center for Charter Schools, the New Teacher Center, and the Society of Professional Women to name a few.
In addition to discussions on teamwork and leadership, BI360 Focus 2017, held August 21 – 24, 2017 at the Hilton in La Jolla, CA, right outside of San Diego, CA and on the world famous Torrey Pines golf course, will focus on business intelligence and corporate performance management technology, as well as data management trends and best practices, as applied via the BI360 suite of applications. The event draws several hundred technology implementation partners and application users from across the United States and around the world to share ideas and learn from one another on how to maximize their BI360 investment.

In addition, August 22nd is a day designed solely for implementation partners, featuring a hands-on training lab along with sessions on product and service sales and marketing, as well as a BI360 Partner Panel to discuss building a BI practice. The remaining two days will be dedicated to the application user - presenting tips and techniques that leverage all of the functions available with BI360. These functions are presented in 60-plus breakout sessions across five categories, including sponsored sessions that will present how Independent Software Vendor (ISV) applications can be used with BI360. Several networking opportunities, as well as a small sponsor exhibit area, a BI360 demo room, and customer showcase presentations, are also included as part of the event.
