Leadership St. Pete® Class of 2018 to Host Fundraising Event at Rococo Steak for SailFuture Group Home for Boys

The Leadership St. Pete® (LSP) Class of 2018 will host their first fundraising event, “Setting Sail,” on March 8, 2018, 6-8pm, to raise money for a renovation project for SailFuture Group Home for Boys. St. Petersburg, FL, March 04, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Leadership St. Pete® (LSP) Class of 2018 will host their first fundraising event, “Setting Sail,” on March 8, 2018, 6-8pm, to raise money for a renovation project for SailFuture Group Home for Boys. This cocktail style event will include a minimum 50/50 raffle, cocktails, and hors d’oevres. Learn more about the LSP Class of 2018’s project and meet the executive director of this innovative program for high-risk teenage boys in the foster care system. SailFuture executive director Mike Long will discuss how the program's combination of challenging sailing experiences, counseling, experiential education and long-term housing changes the trajectory of these boys’ lives, and prepares them for a future of community contribution and leadership.
