About sundhed.dk: sundhed.dk is an open door to healthcare services. It is a unified Danish eHealth Portal providing both access to and information about all the Danish Healthcare Services. The Danish Regions, the Ministry of Health, the National Board of Health, regions, hospitals and municipalities use sundhed.dk to service citizens and healthcare professionals. Heading the portal is a joint political board and a group of directors composed of managing directors from the organizations behind sundhed.dk. Since the end of 2003, citizens and healthcare professionals have been able to find information about health and illnesses, and – using their digital signature or NemID – gain access to health data such as information about medicine, e-journals and laboratory replies.
