WHO IS NORM GOLDMAN?

Norm is a graduate of Sir George Williams University (now known as Concordia University) in Montreal, Canada, as well as the Université de Montréal, Faculty of Law.

For over thirty five years Norm practiced as a Title Attorney and Civil Law Notary. (Click the underlined words to find out more about the profession of a Notaire in Canada).

After his retirement a few years ago, Norm pursued his book reviewing passion implementing many of his research skills he had been practicing for over 35 years.

Initially, Norm restricted his reviews to one genre, travel and travel adventure, however, Norm gradually started to broaden his scope to other genre.

Today, Norm will review books that will make you think, and are related to business ethics, sports, internet, Judaica, Canadiana, adventure, historical adventure, travel adventure, contemporary topics, politics, photography, music, and many more-fiction and non-fiction.

Norm has also contributed to several other sites as well as to the Canadian Book Review Annual. The latter is the most comprehensive collection of authoritative reviews of English language scholarly, and reference books in Canada.

NORM'S TRAVEL WRITING ESCAPADES

Norm and his wife Lily are a unique husband and wife team, writer and water colorist, who write and paint about romantic destinations.

Basically,they meld art and words in order to create an unusual travel story, which generates interest, particularly because of the fact that each painting appears to have been ‘custom-made’ for the story-original story and original art.

In addition to their own travel site SKETCH AND TRAVEL.COM , Norm and Lily regularly contribute to several sites.

In the past they have collaborated with the convention bureaus of Newport, RI, Sarasota, FL, St. Augustine, FL, Central Massachusetts, Sedona, AZ, Mt. Washington, New Hampshire, Bethel, Maine, Banff and Lake Louise, Alberta, and many hotel chains and resort organizations such as Marriott, Hilton and Relais & Chateaux. They have also co-operated with many well- known public relation companies.

Norm and his wife Lily are always open to any suggestions pertaining to travel articles, particularly about romantic inns, B&Bs, lodges, resorts and anything else connected to romantic travel.
