Pete Lillo started Insight Consulting Services in 2006 and serves as a principal partner. Pete plays an active role in each client’s government and public relations strategy. His extensive experience in Trenton and Washington, D.C. affords ICS to be one of the strongest and most reputable lobbying firms in New Jersey. Pete has over 27 years of state and federal government relations experience. As former Vice President of the Stewart Agency, Pete lobbied on behalf of numerous concerns including Anheuser-Busch, Lockheed Martin, GlaxoSmithKline, and many hospitals and healthcare systems, among others. Through his work with these clients, Pete has developed valuable expertise in legislative monitoring, advocacy and public relations.

Pete has significant healthcare experience as well. Prior to joining the Stewart Agency, Pete served as Vice President of Government Relations for the New Jersey Hospital Association for six years, representing over 100 acute and specialty hospitals and healthcare systems throughout the state. Pete oversaw a staff in Trenton and an office in Washington, D.C. He continues to represent many of the state’s hospitals, including the Council of Teaching Hospitals, and other independent healthcare systems. Pete is also strong with labor issues, transportation and homeland security initiatives.

Pete began his career in government serving as legislative aide to a former Assembly member then as Business Manager for the Governor Thomas H. Kean administration and as chief of staff to former Assemblyman Frank Catania. Pete is an active board member of the New Jersey Poison Control Board; the Anchor House/Angel’s Wings Board of Trustees, and the Finance Committee to the March of Dimes. Pete was also recently appointed to the New Jersey State Lincoln Commission.
