D. Lee Rodger, Director, Patient Relations Mr. Rodger’s area of expertise is Medicaid patient approval and processing. He engages with individual patients, family members, nursing facilities and Medicaid staff to ensure each patient receives the quality comprehensive and preventative care Grey Owl Dental is known for in Texas.

Lee comes to Grey Owl Dental with an extensive background in Senior Dental Care with over seven years experience. At a previous position, he served on the Medicaid Region 3 Board. This Board helped the State of Texas adopt a state wide standardized Fee Schedule for Dental treatment.

Lee possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (emphasis on Human Resources) with a Minor in Marketing, a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management and is a Certified Professional Human Resources Manager from the University of Phoenix.

In his spare time, Lee, a step father of four grown children, enjoys horseback riding, singing, bowling and cooking good ole’ fashioned Texas Southern Comfort Food with his family. In 2011, he was a semi-finalist for the Voice of Pride in Dallas.

Lee volunteers his time working with children and young adults in Recovery as well as being an active fund raiser for various charities in the Dallas area. His favorite volunteer activity is teaching special needs children learn how to ride horses where his ‘kids’ affectionately refer to him as “Cowboy Lee.”

He is a nationally known speaker in the area of Recovery and is recognized as a “Volunteer Speaker of the Year” by Recovery Healthcare in Dallas. Lee is recognized by the California State Legislature Assembly for his fundraising efforts while a resident in San Diego, CA.
