David Kovacs specializes in investment banking, private equity, and venture capital with extensive experience in both mature and emerging markets. He focuses on a variety of industries and has analyzed hundreds of deals, executing both sell-side and buy-side engagements. Mr. Kovacs is currently the Head of Investment Banking, Private Equity and Research for Americas, and for Fitch Learning (Fitch Ratings). Prior to Fitch, Mr. Kovacs has held various Investment Banking and Private Equity roles at Hinduja Group, Blackstone Group and Citigroup.

In addition, Mr. Kovacs is currently the Head of Private Equity and Investments for Strategic Acquisitions, a leading real estate and special situations private equity firm, focusing on single-family bulk residential acquisitions and special situation financing. The firm deployed over $2 billion in aggregate. He attended Columbia University and the City University of New York and earned a bachelor’s degree with a triple major in economics, finance, and a minor in accounting and political science. Mr. Kovacs completed all University course requirements in two years at the age of 18.
