This is one of our main strengths. We have been working on PDF conversion projects for over 8 years now. We use most of the Adobe suite of products for PDF creation, selecting tools depending upon output requirements.
This is a list of the most common PDF outputs that we deliver:
PDF Normal
(Fully Text searchable with Image and Graphics)
PDF Image+Text
(OCR’d text embedded over original Image)
Clients who do not have big budgets for conversion generally use PDF Image+Text. The output will have full text search though accuracy will be input image dependant. No parsing on converted text is generally done for PDF Image+Text outputs. However we can also deliver parsed (99.995% accurate) text embedded on an image.

Widely used on the internet to collect, submit and transfer information.

Details of Imaging and Indexing Projects Undertaken:
I) STATE GOVERNMENT PROJECT
Project: Voter Identity Card - Image Processing
Customer: Government of Maharashtra, Government of Karnataka
Scope: Preparation of Voters Identity Cards for the purpose of elections in 1994-95.
Over 10,000,000 voters were issued Voters Identity cards. Voters photographs were scanned and then correlated to their data. The project took 826 Man-Years to complete.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
Methodology Adopted:
According to the client’s requirement the fields are indexed. Images are converted to DjVu or PDF files, globally acceptable file formats for document distribution.
I) Project: High Quality PDF Conversion
Client: Brazil-based client
Mascon converted Hard Copy to high quality PDF files (Portuguese Language).
Total volume was 4000 Catalogues.
II) Project: PDF Conversion
Client: US-based client
Mascon converts TIFF to PDF in this project, which is ongoing. We have already worked on 3,00,000 pages over the last five years and currently cater to a volume of 500-1000 pages daily.
