The UltraStor RS16 JS is an enterprise JBOD storage system designed to provide storage expansion to the award-winning expandable UltraStor™ RS family, or to connect to a host system integrated Host Bus Adaptor.

The UltraStor™ RS16 JS is a 3U-16 disk dual-channel SAS JBOD storage system with one MiniSAS port for storage expansion. Featuring the industry standard SFF-8088 MiniSAS expandable port, the UltraStor™ RS16 JS provides expandability and scalability, which maximizes disk performance allowing for a broader range of storage possibilities. The UltraStor™ RS16 JS provides easy expandability and scalability for the advanced UltraStor™ RS16 IP-4 (Quad GbE iSCSI), RS16 SS (SAS), and RS16 FS (Fibre Channel 4G) storage systems and is designed to easily integrate into elaborate SAN fabrics.

The UltraStor™ RS16 JS is well-equipped with hot-swap cooling fan modules & drive trays, dual-redundant power supply, SAS JBOD hardware architecture and supports up to 16TB of raw storage and can be daisy chained to create a massive 80TB of total storage capacity making UltraStor™ RS16 JS the new standard for enterprise storage expansion. The UltraStor™ RS16 JS offers enterprise-grade fault tolerance solution and improved performance for applications that demand nothing short of superior reliability. Designed to utilize point-to-point host/disk connectivity and accept both high-performance SAS and the high-capacity SATA drives depending on the application requirements.
