San Diego Web Design Company DigaWorks Wins Prestigious Adobe Site of the Day Award
San Diego, CA, August 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- DigaWorks Corporation, an interactive online solutions provider for organizations nationwide, has recently won Adobe's popular "Adobe Site of the Day" award for its In Your Kitchen (www.inyourkitchen.com) website development project. Adobe recognizes websites based on their use of strong visual designs, superior functionality, and innovative uses of Adobe products. In the site design, DigaWorks leveraged the use of Adobe’s Dreamweaver, Flash, Flash Player, and Photoshop. The differentiating factor was the videos displayed on the site, which were shot in HD and streamed from a Flash Media Streaming Server.
"HD video on the Internet is the next big thing. At this point only some large companies are utilizing this technology," John Paoletto, Chief Creative Officer for DigaWorks explains. In Your Kitchen is an all-video cooking website that features gourmet recipes, chef interviews, industry expert advice, tutorials, and social networking features that enable visitors to upload their own videos and interact with other cooks. The aim is to inspire every home cook to get into the kitchen and have fun.

Adobe Site of the Day awards are given out daily to submitted websites. DigaWorks submitted the In Your Kitchen site about two weeks ago, vying for the award against a few thousand other sites. Other recent winners include Continental Airlines, Lincoln, Starbucks, Sony, and other high-profile sites.
