Action Party of Morton Grove Seeks Candidates
The Action Party of Morton Grove is once again following a long-standing tradition of reaching out into the community and asking all civic-minded citizens in Morton Grove to consider screening for elective office in the municipal government.
Morton Grove, IL, September 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Action Party of Morton Grove is seeking interested residents of voting age who reside in Morton Grove, IL and who may be interested in screening for the endorsement of the Action Party for the offices of Mayor/Village President, Village Clerk and 3 Village Trustees (all five of which are up for election on April 7, 2009 with each having a four year term expiring in 2013).
The Party is looking for people who want to be involved and make a difference in Morton Grove, give something back to their community and who are willing to participate in the democratic process. For those who are interested, please submit your name (or that of someone you feel would be qualified) with all contact information to the Action Party Screening Committee (along with a brief letter about your background and why you want to participate in the election as a candidate and what office or offices you seek). Please enclose a resume if available and return all this information to the Action Party on or before October 1, 2008 (the earlier the better).
The Screening Committee will subsequently meet with those individuals who have been submitted for consideration and have also expressed interest in running for elective office.
