Gold Karat Standards Available for XRF Analyzers
Eastern Applied Research, Inc has released a new line of gold (Au) karat standards. These standards are certified for all constituents and help increase the performance of any x-ray fluorescence analyzer used to determine gold purity.
Buffalo, NY, August 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The accredited standards laboratory of Eastern Applied Research has recently developed and made available gold karat standard sets. Calibration standards are an often overlooked variable that can affect the performance of an XRF Analyzer and proper use of these standards will increase any instruments accuracy. When dealing with high gold prices, the slightest variation in accuracy can be a costly one; these standards were developed to avoid unreliable measurements.
Gold standards offered include 10-karat, 14-karat, 18-karat and 22-karat for both yellow gold and white gold. They are available as individual pieces or as a complete set and list the full body of constituents on each sample for ease of use. Eastern Applied Research Inc. operates an accredited ISO/IEC 17025 standards laboratory; manufacturing all style of XRF standards in addition to gold purity.
“With the price of precious metals rising, most notably gold, our Standards Laboratory realized the importance of obtaining the peak performance of an XRF” stated Lynn Mahoney, Director of Quality for Eastern Applied Research. “Many variables affect the performance of an XRF Analyzer and proper calibration standards are one that we can help any organization with.”
For over twenty years, Eastern Applied Research has provided timely and cost-efficient on-site XRF service through regional service technicians. Eastern Applied also offers a full service standards laboratory that is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, sales of new and used XRF analyzers and consultation services.
