NBS/Simlab Merger Completed
VoIP and MSP Capabilities Enhanced.
Wayne, NJ, August 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- NBS, a NJ based reseller and provider of IP and TDM voice & data services, confirms that its recent purchase of the operations and customer base of Simlab.net, has been successfully completed. Simlab's forte is the deployment of managed private WANs with an emphasis on QoS, Internet and VoIP services. By adding its resources to NBS’ already significant abilities in this arena, the company has enhanced its capacity to provide traditional facilities based services, advanced IP voice and IT services, as well as managed networks and high speed internet connectivity.
"The combined capabilities of the two companies, now integrated and functioning as one, cover even more of the data and telecom needs of our customers," stated NBS' CEO Jon Kaufman. "When it comes to a diverse solution set for any telecom network related requirement, we've truly become the one-stop shop provider we set out to be," he added. NBS President Russell Markman echoed those comments and pointed to the integrated company's flexible, custom-tailored solutions. "It is important that we maintain our leadership role in these areas, and Simlab strengthens our core competencies in the provisioning of both facilities based and carrier services" stated Markman.
Anthony Hidalgo, NBS VP of Product Development, was part of the Simlab team that came over with the purchase. Commenting on the unique service and network capabilities that his people bring to the table, he stated “Our philosophy is to create tailored managed solutions and be the one single point of contact to our customers.” “Additionally,” he added, “our network is optimized for VoIP, and we run QoS (Quality of Service) end to end, which is something our competitors seem to overlook.” As a result, NBS wholesale partners can now add QoS based solutions to their existing network infrastructure. In addition to their nationwide voice termination and origination products, VoIP wholesalers are now able to interconnect to the NBS network, and gain complete access to their new products and services such as Managed Private Networks, enhanced for QoS.
You can discuss face to face the full impact of this recent merger with company personnel at this year's Channel Partners Conference and Expo. The show, taking place at Boston's Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center from August 18th through the 20th, will give the company a chance to speak to their channel members for the first time as a joint entity. NBS will be exhibiting at booth numbers 3016-3018, and they encourage you to stop by for full details on the wide variety of solutions they offer.
