Rainsoft Plastic Water Bottle Recycling Initiative at 50th Annual Chicago Air & Water Show
Rainsoft promotes their plastic water bottle recycling initiative with spokesperson and celebrity Florence Henderson, at the Annual Chicago Air & Water show with focus on drinking water.
Elk Grove Village, IL, August 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Rainsoft Water Treatment Systems, the 55-year old manufacturer of residential water treatment and air purification products, announced today that its company spokesperson, Florence Henderson, participated in the 50th Air & Water Show in Chicago, Illinois in August, 2008.

According to the Earth Policy Institute, the environmental consequences of manufacturing, transporting and disposing plastic water bottles requires more than 15 million barrels of oil annually, enough to fuel 100,000 cars for a year. Henderson participated in the Air & Water Show throughout the weekend, beginning with a ride-a-long with the Naperville, Illinois-based Lima Lima Flight Team during Media Day at the Gary Airport in Gary, Indiana.
