The seminar will take place at the Calvary Tabernacle at 78 North Franklin Street in Hempstead, NY at 8:00 pm. Speakers will include: Goodhomehelp.Inc., Nassau County Department of Homeownership and Homeless Services, New York State Department of Banking, and American Debt Resources. Topics of the seminar will include: New federal/state regulations to help homeowners with their mortgage payments, debt relief services to help relieve credit card and other unsecured debt, the foreclosure process, mortgage workout solutions, options to avoid foreclosure, and bankruptcy and how it affects your home. This is a completely free seminar open to the public as well as anyone involved in the real estate industry.
This free Mortgage Relief seminar is being presented by Calvary Tabernacle, which was founded in 1991 by a group of men and women who had recently settled in Hempstead. To satisfy their need for a place of worship, this group, with the leadership of Pastor Barrington F. Goldson, built Calvary Tabernacle with money from their own pockets. Their selfless actions and hard work is the foundation of their congregation. As Hempstead grew, so did Calvary Tabernacle. Today they have more than 700 members from all walks of life.
One of the speakers, GoodHomeHelp, Inc., is a for profit company organized to assist homeowners in distress forbear, modify, or short sell their home. In the event the homeowner must sell their home, GoodHomeHelp will find a purchaser who truly wants a home of their own. GoodHomeHelp desires to promote an economic upturn on a local level by helping homeowners in distress find an amicable resolution outside of foreclosure and/or to pair them with homebuyers with long term intentions of staying within the community.
