Tampa Bay, Fl Hispanic Focused Association Team Participates in Strategic Real Estate Regional Conference Held at the Walt Disney World Resort
Members of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals; Tampa Bay Chapter; take a proactive stance to encourage sustainable real estate business over the long term.
Tampa, FL, August 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- At a time when analysts say we are only halfway through the foreclosure crisis, members of the NAHREP Tampa Bay Chapter re-affirmed their commitment to the Tampa Bay and Central Florida community by actively participating in the pre-planning efforts of the NAHREP 2008 Southeast Regional Conference, as well as its insightful two (2) day program, held July 10-11th, 2008 at the Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
This conference once again proved consistent in the ethical promise to best serve our Hispanic homebuyers – no matter how challenging the market may present itself. As Rebecca Gallardo-Serrano, NAHREP’s Chair, stated, “Our business is changing daily requiring members and career professionals across the industry to adjust their strategy in order to survive.” The members’ time investment to this conference was invaluable, as they joined in opportune topics such as, “The Winning Mindset” by National Speaker Jerry Pujals of Zhone Coaching; “Leveraging Florida Sales to International Buyers” by a panel of industry experts; and “Blogging for the Hispanic Real Estate Market” by Brian Requarth of Bilingual Marketing and Viva Real.
Overall, the program’s end result was an intimate time to network with other industry professionals and colleagues, as well as a testament of those who “stop trying to understand leadership and become leaders themselves!”, as Mildred Fernandez, Orange County, FL Commissioner, expressed to all during an energetic luncheon of laughter and camaraderie.
NAHREP is the fastest growing trade association in the country; and one of the most influential and important professional associations in the United States today. Their goal as an organization is to increase the rate of homeownership among Hispanics by educating and empowering the real estate professionals that work with this underserved community.
