TALLSource Launches Website TALLSource.com; Online Store for Tall Men and Tall Women

Addison, TX, September 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- TALLSource founder Greg Hirsch believes there is a void in the commercial marketplace for people of above-average height. What once was considered a tall order will now be fulfilled with the creation of a comprehensive online source to fill the void that many tall people feel.

TALLSource.com launched on Friday August 22, 2008 providing both an online store and an interactive online community and knowledge base for tall men and tall women. If the early feedback is any indication, the niche site is poised for success.

“Whenever I talk to men and women who are tall, I always hear the same thing: ‘I can’t find products that fit me,’” explained Hirsch, who stands 6’5. “When I tell them about TALLSource.com, and the breadth of products and resources we will have available that cater to their unique needs, their faces light up with a combination of excitement and relief.”

TALLSource.com aims to make life more convenient for tall people. The site will not, however, cater to “big and tall.”

“The majority of product marketing today assumes that if you are tall, you are also big,” said Hirsch. “There is an entire community of people out there who are simply tall. That is what our products will focus on.”

The wide range of products that will be available varies from functional work and travel gear to comfortable, specifically-designed lifestyle products. Examples of items that will be available on TALLSource.com include: an 80” tall cherry-finished mirror; a travel bag with an extra-long telescoping handle; oversized bedding products; a dustpan with a convenient extra-long handle; and even an 8’ long hammock. In the future, Hirsch also aims to add clothing solutions for tall men and tall women seeking long and extra long clothing.

Along with the online store, TALLSource.com will provide community and knowledge resources for tall men and tall women. One highlights of the community feature is an online discussion forum where participants can discuss their experiences being tall and share tips and product advice, such as the best place to buy suits and business attire. Hirsch and other experts on tall living will also be able to dispense advice through a FAQs page and a periodic email newsletter.

For Hirsch, the goal is simple: make life easier and more comfortable for tall men and tall women everywhere.
