Trespassers Arrested at School

Portland, OR, August 28, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Police arrested two suspected trespassers at an Oregon education facility after suspicious activity was detected by Sonitrol Pacific July 9.

An expert Sonitrol Pacific operator received audio activations from the school and heard sounds of movement and quiet voices through real-time
audio sensors. He immediately dispatched police.

Officers arrived quickly on school grounds and located two individuals. The two suspects were taken into custody and charged with trespassing.

A representative from the school said, “we have come to expect that when bad things are happening, Sonitrol will put an end to it quickly.”

Sonitrol Pacific has protected schools and businesses in the Pacific Northwest since 1978 and in that time the company has assisted law enforcement in the apprehension of almost 5,000 suspects. The company will celebrate its 30 year anniversary this September at an Oktoberfest open house for clients, friends and business partners.
