Fannie May, Two Bostons, Pizza Fusion to Open in Naperville’s Springbrook Prairie Pavilion; New Center Nearly 100% Leased
Naperville, IL, August 29, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Fannie May Confections, Two Bostons Pet Boutique & Gourmet Bakery
and Pizza Fusion all have made lease commitments to open locations in Naperville’s new Springbrook Prairie Pavilion, it was announced today.
When they move into the new Springbrook Prairie Pavilion later this year, Fannie May, Two Bostons and Pizza Fusion will join Whole Foods Market, Road Runner Sports, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cost Plus World Market, Loehmann’s and Noodles & Company, each of which has already opened new units in the center. Other new tenants opening this year include Nordstrom Rack, Bank of America, Chase Bank, Home Goods, Relax-the-Back and Charles Ifergan.
The 270,000 square foot Springbrook Prairie Pavilion on a 27 acre site at the northwest corner of 75th St. and Fort Hill Drive is being developed by Bond Companies along with its joint venture partner, MDC Properties of Hinsdale, IL. Bond has offices in Chicago, Los Angeles and Richmond, Va.

Fannie May will occupy 1,200 square in the new Springbrook Prairie Pavilion. Fannie May has offered a broad assortment of premium chocolate confections and food gifts, including its best-selling Trinidads, Mint Meltaways and Pixies along with other custom confection assortments and an expanding line of gourmet ice cream and frozen desserts for nearly 90 years. The company has 62 retail outlets in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin and plans to have 73 open by the end of the year. The Springbrook Prairie location will open in early November and will reflect Fannie May’s new store design incorporating its signature red and white awning into a warm contemporary interior with dark woods and red walls.
The opening of its Springbrook Prairie Pavilion store will be the second location for Two Bostons, a pet boutique offering dogs, cats and their owners a variety of quality services and items. Two Bostons will offer collars, clothing, toys, food and more in its nearly 2,700 square foot location when it opens on or about November 1. Freshly baked treats and premium fashion merchandise from more than 400 vendors will be featured. In addition, the store will have the capacity to provide a wide selection of premium grain free-foods and environmentally sustainable merchandise as well as educational seminars for customers. This second location will have more than twice the space of the first Two Bostons, located at 232 Washington St. in Naperville.
Pizza Fusion will occupy 2.000 square feet when it opens its first Illinois location in the Springbrook Prairie Pavilion in November. Pizza Fusion, based in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., has more than 75 locations in 15 states which feature a diverse “organic” menu including gourmet pizza, sandwiches, salads and appetizers. Furthermore, Pizza Fusion’s health conscious alternatives for people with selective diets and food allergies also includes gluten-free pizza, brownies and beer. All Pizza Fusion locations are built to LEED certification standards, thus making its new location a wholesome fit for Springbrook Prairie.
Construction for Springbrook Prairie Pavilion began in June of 2007. The new center features a central plaza integrated into the design that adds a new retail lifestyle experience, including use for events, programs and other gatherings. Springbrook Prairie Pavilion also is designed as a pedestrian-friendly shopping center, with bike paths and sidewalks leading to the Du Page County Forest Preserve.
