Greg Barron Will Build an ActionCOACH Business Coaching Firm in the UK
Las Vegas, NV, August 29, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Barron foresees his new role as an ActionCOACH as one full of adventure.
Gregory Barron has joined ActionCOACH and will be building a business coaching firm in the United Kingdom.
He will be operating his business from the Wimbledon area in London, which is one of the most cosmopolitan areas, suitably situated for business success.
"I have taken the challenge to build a firm from scratch, I liked the idea of building something significant," he said. "My Master Licensees are forever encouraging and helpful in assisting me in achieving my goals."
Barron was planning to pursue his career in business coaching and having been involved in his own small business for many years, he felt passionate about helping others avoid the pitfalls and problems he had experienced. Having completed his MBA he was determined to set up a coaching business that would be geared toward helping businesses grow and reach their potential. During this time, he received a call from his local Master Licensee and was introduced to ActionCOACH.
"For me it was only a matter of finding out how I was going to realize my goal. The ActionCOACH opportunity came along and it seemed like the perfect fit," he said.
Prior to becoming an ActionCOACH, Barron spent 20 years as part owner of a manufacturing business as well as held management positions in large corporations.
"Being part of a business from its conception, helping build it, seeing it through thick and thin was a challenge and it would be one of my biggest accomplishments,” he said. "I know what it’s like to be a business owner, I have also worked in large corporations undertaking business modeling, financial analysis and project management assignments."
Barron learned the importance of team building early in his career.
"I started off as an accountant and I have built highly successful finance and project teams over the years, I'm always amazed at the power of team work."
During his due diligence, Barron found ActionCOACH to be "practicing what it preaches."
"The people and systems at ActionCOACH are of the highest caliber and quality," he said.
Barron has always wanted to leave a legacy. He also believes in the power of small business to change the lives of his clients in a positive way.
"I have a dream that one day I will be able to set up a foundation to educate people in the skills of business; it would be great to channel the energy of youth into small business creation," he said.
In addition to being associated with the business community, Barron is also actively involved in the International Positive Psychology Association and his university alumni group at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM).
ActionCOACH is the world's number one business coaching firm, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to actioncoach.com.
