StraighterLine Announces Ellis University as New Affiliate Partner

StraighterLine selected Ellis University for its rigorous and high quality degree programs, as well as for its commitment to individual learners and their needs.
Regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (www.ncahlc.org), Ellis University offers more than 50 accredited online degrees, certificates and specializations. At Ellis University, coursework is based on real-world scenarios, enabling students to "learn by doing." Ellis online courses incorporate the latest interactive features, such as streaming video, online simulations and personalized communications tools, bringing the material to life and ensuring students stay connected to instructors and classmates.
Students who take a StraighterLine course can select Ellis University to award credit for the course. They can continue their major studies and pursue their degree through this college, or they can transfer those credits to non-partner colleges that recognize StraighterLine’s partner’s courses as equivalent programs.
Currently StraighterLine offers four entry-level curriculum courses where credit can be transferred: College Algebra, English Composition, Economics I and Accounting I. Economics II, Accounting II, Introduction to Algebra and Developmental Writing will be available in September.
