PFS Marketwyse Acquires BreakThrough Communications

Totowa, NJ, June 23, 2004 --(PR.com)-- PFS Marketwyse, an integrated branding, marketing and communications firm headquartered in Totowa, New Jersey, today announced the acquisition of BreakThrough Communications, a strategic public relations and marketing communications consultancy. With this acquisition, PFS Marketwyse expands its client and staff base as well as strengthens its core competencies in various marketing and communication disciplines, such as public relations, media and investor relations, strategic “thought leadership” communications, branding, advertising, marketing communications, executive/employee communications, crisis communications and financial communications.

Under the agreement, Chris Faust, founder and CEO of New Jersey-based BreakThrough Communications, will become vice president of communications and client relations for PFS Marketwyse, reporting to Deidre Breakenridge, president of PFS Marketwyse. As part of the acquisition transition process, BreakThrough Communications will dissolve its company name over time. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
