Senior Living Communities Continues Steps to Change Healthcare Culture with New Hire

Charlotte, NC, August 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Senior Living Communities, a leading provider of retirement communities throughout the southeast, is pleased to announce the addition of Denise Nezbeth to the corporate team as the Vice President of Healthcare Culture.

Denise graduated Summa Cum Laude from Capital University with a Bachelor of Social Work and is licensed Social Worker and Nursing Home Administrator.

In her new role, Denise will oversee the cultural changes needed in healthcare delivery and create an environment in which the resident and employee have more of a mutually beneficial relationship. She will work to create a person-centered environment where the resident comes first and has the ability to direct their day from beginning to end. Denise will also be responsible for the overall healthcare program including training, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Denise brings over 29 years of experience to Senior Living and most recently was the Director of Healthcare Services at Marsh’s Edge, a Senior Living Communities property in St. Simon’s Island, Georgia. Denise’s greatest accomplishment at Marsh’s Edge was the implementation of The Person Centered Care Program. In addition, Denise worked for Progressive Quality Care as their Corporate Executive Director overseeing 10 communities, was the Chairman of The Pro Football Hall Of Fame, was a continuing education instructor for Autumn Enterprises, and is a Rotary member.
