Sonitrol Pacific Audio Catches School Vandal
Hillsboro, OR, August 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- “Banging” noises captured by audio sensors alerted a Sonitrol Pacific operator to a suspected vandal’s activity at an Oregon elementary school August

The expert operator received the impact-activated audio alarm from the school followed by additional signals and called the guard service and police. The operator stayed on the phone with officers while they were en route to the school to keep them updated of ongoing activity at the school.
Police arrived on campus to discover knocked over garbage cans and they took one suspect into custody.
Quick response on the part of the Sonitrol Pacific operator, the police and the guard service prevented the suspected vandal from doing any more damage to the facility.
