Dr. J. Mike Tutt has a PhD in Christian Counseling from Christian Bible College and a Doctor of Divinity degree from Christian College of America. He did graduate work at Houston Baptist University, University of Houston at Clear Lake, and Southwestern Seminary. Dr. Tutt’s work experience includes President of Tutt Family Ministries, Director of counseling for Gulf Coast Baptist Association, and Corporate Director of Community Relations for Rapha, a Christ centered psychiatric and substance abuse program. He has been a member of American Counseling Association, American Association of Christian Counselors, and The Christian Association for Psychological Studies. Dr. Tutt is an ordained Baptist minister. He has lectured and held seminars on marriage enrichment, parenting, self-esteem and motivation. Dr. Tutt teaches classes in Lay Counselor Training. He also speaks at banquets, luncheons retreats and churches. Dr Tutt gives hurting people somewhere to turn. He shows them- through spiritual and emotional counseling- that God can really make a difference in their lives no matter how difficult or impossible things may seem.
