Santa Clarita, CA Home Sales Skyrocket, Up 22% with Fierce Bidding Wars Among First Time Home Buyers

Southland Association of Realtors predicts that the real estate market is nearing the bottom as demand for homes among first time buyers increase dramatically causing many buyers to seek out Realtors who are experts in dealing with bank negotiators to win the bid for their buyer-clients.

Santa Clarita, CA, September 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Southland Association of Realtors predicts that the real estate market is beginning to bottom out as demand for homes among first time buyers increase dramatically causing many buyers to seek out Realtors who are “experts” in knowing how to deal with bank negotiators to win the bid for their buyer-clients.

The statistics are out and they support what the local realtors and home shoppers have been experiencing these past couple of months - home sales are once again sharply on the rise and inventory is becoming more difficult to find as demand steadfastly increases. Houses are selling quickly, if they are priced correctly, and multiple offers are being received on most entry level priced homes. Lauren Nemeschansky, a local REMAX of Valencia/Santa Clarita realtor said “Almost every well priced starter house that I looked at last month is sold, every one of the six homes that I sold this month was purchased from different banks, we constantly had to compete against several other bidders, in one case 20 bidders, of course being an expert in short sales, negotiating with bank asset managers, and REO agents along with knowing how to strengthen my client’s offer to present them in the most positive light to the banks helped me win every single one of those bids, even though we were not the highest bidder.” According to the Southland Association of Realtors home sales have been increasing each month for the past six months, home sales in July was up 13.3% higher than in June and 22% higher than July of last year. This indicates that as demand increases and inventories start to decline the market is swinging from a “buyers market” to a “balanced market” so those buyers who continue to wait for the “ball to drop” may be missing out on their window of opportunity.
