Vampire Romance Fans Can Now Sink Their Teeth Into "Dark Hunger" by Sara Reinke

Fans of vampire romance books can now sink their teeth into Book 2 in The Brethren Series by Sara Reinke, as "Dark Hunger," the sequel to last year's popular "Dark Thirst" hits bookstores shelves nationwide on September 2.

Louisville, KY, September 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Author Sara Reinke continues her Brethren Series of vampire romance with the September 2, 2008 release of Dark Hunger from Kensington Publishing’s Zebra imprint.

Dark Hunger is the sequel to Dark Thirst, which was released in July, 2007 and which Romantic Times Book Reviews magazine hailed as “a new twist on the vampire legend” and a “fascinating and unique romance.” New York Times best-selling author Lara Adrian calls Dark Hunger “a paranormal treat to be savored.” The book, which will be released in mass market paperback, will be available in bookstores and through retailers nationwide for a list price of $4.99.

In Dark Hunger, (ISBN-10: 1-4201-0054-8; ISBN-13: 978-4201-0054-9) Tessa Noble-Davenant will do anything to protect her brother, Brandon, even if that means traveling across the country with Rene Morin. A cynical, brooding, yet startling sexy vampire, Rene seems to take pleasure in finding fault with Tessa's every move. Despite this, a sensual attraction begins to develop between the two, one to which neither can afford to succumb. Rene and Tessa are being followed—and a single misstep will put them at the mercy of forces more dark and powerful than they can even imagine.

In its September, 2008 issue, Romantic Times touts Reinke as “definitely an author to watch.” A resident of Kentucky, she is the president of the Louisville Romance Writers chapter of Romance Writers of America (RWA) and recently joined other top-name authors in the romance industry taking part in the annual “Readers for Life” Literacy Book-Signing to benefit ProLiteracy Worldwide. This year's event was held during the RWA national conference in San Francisco and raised nearly $60,000. Since 1991, the “Readers for Life” signings have raised more than $600,000 for literacy charities.
