Raymond Celebrates Six-Years with Berkeley Rep

Saint Helena, Napa Valley, CA, September 05, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Raymond Vineyards is celebrating a six-year partnership with Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Raymond donates wine for Berkeley Rep’s opening night performances, 30-Below, night/OUT and other Theatre events. Raymond also contributes wine served at the Narsai Toast Gourmet Gala and Wine Auction, Berkeley Rep’s largest annual fundraiser.

This month’s world premiere of Yellowjackets, written by Berkeley, CA native, Itamar Moses, is already receiving media buzz and Raymond will be featuring their estate grown 2004 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon at the September 3rd season premiere dinner. “We like to start things off with a bang,” says Krisi Raymond, Raymond’s Director of Strategic Planning, “Berkeley Rep always brings amazing talent to the stage, year after year. We like to help kick-off each season by offering something special to theater goers, whether it be a limited release wine or a pre-release of something not readily available in the marketplace yet.”

Raymond will also continue their participation in the popular tasting series Berkeley Rep started last year to celebrate its 40th birthday. Raymond will offer complimentary tastes of specially selected wines prior to scheduled performances on the below listed dates:

About Raymond Vineyards
Raymond Vineyards was founded in 1971 by Roy Sr., Roy Jr. and Walter Raymond. The Raymond family’s roots in the Napa Valley date back to 1876, when Jacob and Frederick Beringer founded Beringer Brothers Winery.
