Elizabeth Bublitz Creator and Author of Pawfriendly Landscapes Will be a Speaker for the Mile High Youth Corps on September 12
Elizabeth Bublitz, creator and author of Pawfriendly Landscapes will be a guest speaker at the Mile High Youth Corps on September 12, 2008 from 10am- 12pm at East Montclair Community Center at 6740 E Colfax Ave; Denver. The purpose to introduce Corpsmembers to professionals. Professionals will describe their work day and then after a small break, Corpsmembers can discuss questions more intimately with their chosen professional.
Denver, CO, September 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, owner, creator and author of "Pawfriendly Landscapes - How to Share the Turf When Your Backyard Belongs to Barney," will be a guest speaker at the Mile High Youth Corps on September 12, 2008 from 10am- 12pm at the East Montclair Community Center at 6740 East Colfax Ave, Denver, Colorado.
The lecture will begin by having all the professionals introduce themselves and state where they work and their position. Also, a discussion of the professionals' day to day work, how they got in to the field, perhaps other career paths, the things they like least and most about their job etc. which should last approximately five minutes each. Then the floor will be open to questions from Corpsmembers.
Following a short break, the seminar will rearrange the room to provide each professional with their own space and allow the Corpsmembers to move around and speak more intimately with those professionals they are most interested in. A light snack will also be provided at this time.
Ms. Bublitz was asked by the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado (ALCC) an organization her company, Pawfriendly Landscapes is a member. Cynthia Jackson of the ALCC approached Ms. Bublitz to join the panel to discuss her company and recent book release. Bublitz says, "I'm so excited to speak to young adults about my career path. I created my career by combining my two passions in life - plants and pets - so I'm extremely blessed and lucky! Hopefully others will hear there are no limitations when it comes to creating a happy, satisfying life by following your passion!"
