PhotographyCorner.com Announces the Winner of Contest Corner Challenge #55: The Face of Education

Barrie, Ontario, Canada, September 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Photography Corner (www.PhotographyCorner.com) has announced that Christi Battrick is the winner of the site’s latest Contest Corner Challenge, and as such has been awarded a year of free web hosting provided by XLD Studios. The recent challenge asked photographers to capture a photograph that best depicts "the face of education." PhotographyCorner.com began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued every 3 weeks throughout the year.

With just under 30% of the votes from a total of fifteen qualifying submissions, Christi won the recent photography challenge CCC#55: The Face of Education with her work showcasing a dark room with an apple sitting on an empty school desk. This is the first Contest Corner Challenge win accomplished by Christi Battrick.

Contest Corner Challenges at www.PhotographyCorner.com are issued to site members in the community’s forum and on the Corner Blog (http://www.photographycorner.com/blog).
