MyQueerWedding.com is offering the Prize of a Wedding Package to the Winner of their “Vote for Love” video contest, for the most compelling video story about marriage equality that inspires people to Vote for Love, Vote "no" on Proposition 8 in the California election this November.
San Francisco, CA, September 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- People in California and from around the United States can submit their one to five minute video story to the "Vote for Love" video contest about what the right to marriage equality means to them. Couples wanting to get married, or anyone who wants to nominate a wedding couple, can enter the contest before the submission deadline of October 20, 2008.
Entries will be uploaded to the MyQueerWedding.com YouTube channel and their viewers and a panel of judges will pick the most compelling video that inspires people to Vote for Love, Vote NO on Proposition 8 in the California election this November.
The Prize is a Wedding Package, featuring the products and services of MyQueerWedding.com member businesses, including a wedding officiant, wedding site, photographer, videographer, and celebration cruise.
The Vote for Love video contest is increasing visibility about marriage equality and the importance of voting to defeat Proposition 8, an initiative measure on the 2008 California General Election ballot. If passed, Proposition 8 would amend the California Constitution to eliminate the right to same-sex marriage.
