Mybookhead.com is Fighting Global Warming

Mybookhead.com is going green by planting a tree for every 10 rents recieved.

Murfreesboro, TN, September 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- This fall mybookhead.com will join the fight against global warming. Every time that mybookhead.com receives 10 rents they will plant a tree.

Every year over 20 million trees are cut down to produce textbooks for students. The environment is being affected due to the ozone receiving all of the carbon dioxide that those trees should be consuming.

That is a large sum of trees to be used for the benefit of a student to own a book for a class. This number can be reduced if students rented the book only when needed. That would allow a book to be shared by multiple students and reduce the number of books produced.

As of right now mybookhead.com is only a 3-day textbook rental which gives them the opportunity to plant a generous amount of trees. One day could possibly produce 6 to 7 trees. The trees generated from fall rents will be planted in the spring due to the winter weather, and the trees from the spring rents will be planted during the summer.

Mybookhead.com is grateful to be able to join the fight of creating a better environment and encourages all to join the as well.
