Free Nintendo Wii Magazine Launches
Most popular console gets new monthly digital magazine professionally produced and complete with rich media content.
London, United Kingdom, September 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Following feedback from its readers, GamerZines.com is pleased to today announce the launch of PlayZine, a free digital magazine dedicated to the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.
PlayZine has been designed to make it easy to find all the information about games that people want, whether that be the game’s age rating, or how difficult or how long a game may be. The content is written by professional games journalists to be as inclusive as possible, so that casual gamers will find the magazine relevant.
As part of this launch, HGZine, the previous magazine dedicated to Nintendo DS and PSP has been merged with the new PlayZine, in order to allow continuity for readers as the stable of titles from GamerZines.com grows.
“We listened to a lot of feedback from readers,” explains Editorial Director, Dan Hutchinson, “and we were consistently asked to produce a title for the Nintendo Wii. The most obvious solution was to add the content to HGZine, but during the process, it became clear to us that complete new design and magazine was called for, and PlayZine was born. We will be sourcing the best exclusives out there to ensure our readers are always up to date with the Wii and DS, especially in this run up to the Christmas period.”
All GamerZines.com magazines including PlayZine are professionally written and produced by a team of games journalists and publishers with decades of experience in the magazine industry. The portal offers free monthly magazines for various games platforms in interactive PDF format. All the magazines are enhanced with rich media and extensive video of the games in action.
Readers do not need to register to download the magazines, which are all completely free. All that is required to view the magazines is Adobe Reader version 6 or above on Windows or Mac, and a broadband internet connection.
