New York, NY, September 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Dan Price, President of Oink Ink Radio, a U.S.-based radio production company, is the subject of the latest edition of The CBS Report, a series of audio podcasts produced for Canadian Broadcast Sales. The podcast is "a quick earful of what's making news and noise on and in Canadian radio."
The CBS Report, which is produced by the Norman Agency, Toronto, was first introduced in 2006. The Norman Agency is Canada's only agency specializing in creating audio marketing communications: consumer and B2B radio ads, corporate podcasts, and more. In January 2008 the CBS Report became the first podcast ever to win a Mobius Award.
Price was selected to be interviewed because “we wanted to bring his expert tips and insights to the ears of those responsible for creating and approving creative here in Canada” said Jim Norman, president of the Norman Agency. “We also wanted to present to Canadian agency and advertiser decision-makers the fact that Oink Ink Radio is a superb resource to turn to for their upcoming projects.”
Oink Ink Radio is a “radio ad agency” that handles almost exclusively radio. In the interview, Price discusses what makes radio different than other media, including print and television. He also offers several helpful tips on writing and producing great radio commercials.
Price has been called-upon to speak about radio creative numerous times during his career, including to ad clubs in Phoenix, Washington D.C., Boston, Minneapolis, Kansas City and Puerto Rico. He was extensively quoted in the book, “And Now a Few Laughs From Our Sponsor” (Larry Oakner; Copyright 2002; John Wiley and Sons).
Oink Ink, with offices in New York and Los Angeles, has worked with Canadian agencies, including Leo Burnett and MacLaren McCann, and has been honored at Canada's leading radio-creative competition, The Radio Marketing Bureau's Crystal Awards. This year, Oink Ink won a Bronze Lion at Cannes for a spot it produced for MacLaren McCann.
