Sonny and the Moonlighters Play the Moshofsky Center During University of Oregon Ducks vs. Boise Game

Eugene, OR, September 14, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Sonny and The Moonlighters party with the Ducks.

Sat. Sept. 20th, 10:30am one of Eugene's favorite local acts, Sonny and The Moonlighters, will perform at the University of Oregon's Moshofsky Center for the home football game. The music begins as the official indoor tailgate party doors open two hours prior to kickoff, and then again 30 min or so during half time. The music this year is produced by local promoter, Cindy Ingram. This marks the first year Ingram has contracted with the UO Athletics department following the Eugene '08 Olympic Trials. Big Green Events has produced the indoor music stage for the previous 11 years.

Sonny and the Moonlighters are a rock band from Eugene, OR influenced by 60's soul with a 2 piece horn section. This outfit has been together for a year playing in venues throughout Eugene including the WOW Hall, Sam Bonds, Luckey's, Witaker Halloween, New Years Eve Party and have toured through Portland and Seattle. The Moonlighters are almost finished with a 10 song LP and have been covered both in the Eugene Weekly and Register Guard.
