Establishing The Brooklyn Circus
The Brooklyn Circus is a Men’s & Women’s boutique, providing fashionable clothes and accessories, while inspiring the masses. The Brooklyn Circus history begins with RR2 LLC as a parent company, which wholly owns and operates The Brooklyn Circus brands and the New York shop. RR2 operated as RAMSEY RACING, an uber urban Nightlife and Events Company from 1999-2006. The company owned by Quincy “Ouigi” Theodore continued into the fashion realm, opening it’s first boutique and carrying brands such as Seven Jeans, Chip and Pepper, Penguin, Garbege, Nudie Jeans, and 10 Deep. This was in conjunction with One Race, who operated as RACE from 2003-2005.

During this period, Ouigi pursued his dream of operating a specialty boutique and opened up the Brooklyn Circus. On Feb 11th 2006 The Brooklyn Circus was officially opened, carrying Nudie Jeans, 10 Deep, Imported Nike, Creative Recreation, Rich Yung, Maharishi, and Free Gold Watch. The Brooklyn Circus now focuses on selective specialty brands and on their own The Brooklyn Circus label and BKc private Collection. In August 2008, Gabriel Garcia brought the Brooklyn Circus momentum to San Francisco and opened The Brooklyn Circus SF in the heart of the Fillmore Jazz district. The Brooklyn Circus and BKc brands are now offered in specialty shops in San Francisco, LA, Chicago and Japan and available globally through their online shop (www.thebkcircus.com/shop).

Since their first store opening in Brooklyn, New York just over 2 years ago, this once small street wear boutique has expanded its reach opening specialty stores in Chicago, San Francisco, and has a brand presence in 12 selective shops in Japan. With an array of merchandise including but not limited to men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, this laid back vintage inspired boutique can only be experienced in person.
